TabTrade Broker Review - A Look at This New CFD Broker
Tab Trade - What It Is
Tab Trade launched in Q1 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.
That last detail is relevant. It says the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. Still more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.
They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.
What you can trade: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For something this new, that coverage is solid.
Platforms
Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from a single account. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Having both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.
MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. Many people prefer it after using both.
FIX API is offered for algo traders but needs the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is apparently on the roadmap. That will be a good addition when it arrives.
Accounts and Pricing
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Suits people who want simple pricing.
Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your actual cost per trade can be below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade does not.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX API, faster fills, tailored rates. Not relevant to typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.
Infrastructure
The speed is the thing this broker stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers quote 100ms to 300ms.
Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Pair that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering makes sense. Few brokers at this price point run Equinix connectivity.
Safety
This is the detail that requires honesty. TabTrade is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, look elsewhere. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
That said. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in Equinix connectivity. This does not guarantee anything. It should factor into your assessment.
What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that works is your call.
Welcome Offer
Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Usual deposit match. You deposit, TabTrade credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before funding.
